Cricindium Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cricindium, a platform operated by Techindium ("we," "us," or "our") for cricket enthusiasts to log match scores, view live match details, and engage with the cricket community. By accessing or using Cricindium (the "Platform"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use Cricindium.
• By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. User Accounts

• To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately at info@techindium.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

3. User Conduct

• You agree to use Cricindium in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and consistent with the Platform's purpose of fostering a positive cricket community.
• Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
  • Posting or sharing content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence or enmity based on race, religion, caste, gender, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Engaging in harassment, bullying, or personal attacks against other users.
  • Uploading malicious code, viruses, or content that disrupts the Platform's functionality.
  • Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity.
  • Violating intellectual property rights or sharing unauthorized content.
• We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.

4. User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (e.g., match scores, comments), but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute such content for Platform operations.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. We do not endorse or verify user-generated content.
• We may monitor, moderate, or remove content to ensure compliance with these Terms or applicable laws.

5. Intellectual Property

• All Platform content, including logos, designs, and software, is owned by or licensed to Techindium and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy

• Your use of Cricindium is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
• By using the Platform, you consent to such data practices.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Cricindium is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Platform.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techindium, its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
  • Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
  • User-generated content, including inaccurate scores or harmful comments.
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data.
  • Any bugs, viruses, or technical issues affecting the Platform.
• We are not responsible for disputes between users or for any actions taken by users on or off the Platform.

8. Indemnification

• You agree to indemnify and hold Techindium harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to Cricindium at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the Platform or other users.
• You may stop using the Platform at any time by deleting your account.

10. Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Any disputes arising from your use of Cricindium shall be resolved through arbitration in Nagpur, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single arbitrator appointed by Techindium.
• You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

11. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms at our discretion. Changes will be posted on the Platform, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• Significant changes will be notified via email or Platform announcements.

12. No Waiver

• Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
